Michał Borda 

MICHAŁ BORDA Ph.D. (WSB University in Dąbrowa Górnicza) was born on August 20, 1976 in Katowice. He was ordained a priest on June 2, 2001 by Bishop Adam Śmigielski in the Sosnowiec Cathedral. In 2009, he was appointed catechetical inspector for the diocese of Sosnowiec. In 2010, he was appointed deputy director and a year later director of the Catechetical Department of the Sosnowiec Diocesan Curia. On June 5, 2012, he took his doctoral degree from Pope John Paul II University in Krakow after having presented his thesis: "The Biblical concept of vocation in high school catechesis and its reception by students (based on a study on graduates in high schools of the diocese of Sosnowiec)". Moderator of the Diocesan Family of Schools named after John Paul II, diocesan coordinator of the "Work of the New Millennium" Foundation (Fundacja "Dzieło Nowego Tysiąclecia"), lecturer at the Higher Interdiocesan Seminary in Częstochowa, assistant professor of the Department of Pedagogy at the WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza. Expert of the Commission for Catholic Education of the Polish Bishops' Conference on the evaluation of religious education curricula and catechetical textbooks (for 2023-2028). Expert of the Ministry of Education and Science on the professional advancement of teachers. Secretary-Treasurer of the Polish Catechists Association. Member of the European Forum for Religious Education in Schools - EuFRES and ambassador of the International Pedagogical Network PILGRIM. Author of monographs and several dozen articles.

Karolina Walancik 

KAROLINA WALANCIK Ph.D. (WSB University in Dąbrowa Górnicza), assistant professor at the WSB University, graduate of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (doctoral studies, doctorate), postgraduate studies at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. Author of two monographs and several dozen articles. Her scientific interests lie in the field of social sciences, family law, pedagogy, and intercultural education.

Leszek Marius Jakoniuk 

LESZEK MARIUS JAKONIUK, Rev., was born in 1976. He obtained his a Licentiate of Theology from the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. He completed a special course in catechetics (pedagogie de la foi) at the Catholic University of Paris and he completed his third degree doctoral studies at the University of Strasbourg in France. Since 2014, he has worked in the Department of Catholic Theology at the University of Białystok and served as the Managing Editor of the publication Annual of Catholic Theology and as the Managing Editor of Studies on Dogmatic Theology. Member of the Association of Polish Catechists. President of the Mess’AJE Polska Association, which promotes adult biblical catechesis in Poland, Vice Director of the Metropolitan Curia of Białystok’s Department of Catechesis. His research interests include: the dimensions of the liturgy  and  catechesis  that  are  conducive  to  the  growth  of  the  Church  as  a  community,  ecclesial  identity  in  a  united  Europe,  subjectivity  in  intercultural  and  interfaith  dialogue,  and  adult  biblical  catechesis.  He  has authored and co-authored many articles inter alia: Exsultet (wymiar katechetyczny),  in:  Leksykon katechetyczny (Kielce 2022), Les  chants  de  Taizé (Paris, 2021), Archbishop Edward Kisiel: The “Primary Catechist” of the Diocese (Białystok, 2018), The French and Polish Versions of the Catechism of the Catholic Church: An Examination of Certain Passages of the Catechism’s Teaching on the “Mysterium Ecclesiae” from a Philological and Translational Perspective (Białystok, 2017), L’Exultet – une catéchèse vécue (Białystok, 2013), L’Exultet – La Bonne Nouvelle chantée (Białystok, 2012)
